Refund policy

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected if, for any reason, you wish to return a product bought from Tinker & Tot.

We accept returns if you contact us within 14 days of receipt and return items within 14 days of your request. Items must be unopened, unused, and in their original condition. 

Standard Returns

If you wish to return an item, please email hello@tinkerandtot.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your order to notify us of your intent to return. Returns must be received within 14 days of your notification.

Returned items must be:

• In their original, unused condition
• In their original packaging (not the outer carton used for shipping)
• Complete with all tags and labels intact

Please include your order reference inside the return package. We strongly advise packaging your return securely, as we cannot accept responsibility for goods damaged or lost in transit.

Customers are responsible for paying their own return shipping costs (at the customers expense).

Please ensure postage labels are placed on the outer parcel and not directly onto product packaging. Items returned with defaced or damaged packaging may not be accepted.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will process the refund. within 7 working days. The refund to be credited back to your original method of payment at the checkout.

Please note there are no restocking fee for any returned products.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the product is it faulty.

Return Conditions

To meet the cancellation deadline, you must notify us of your intention to return before the end of the 14-day cancellation period.

Goods must reach us:

• Within 14 days of your return request
• In unused condition, in original packaging with tags intact

If items are returned late or not in resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse the return and arrange for the item to be returned to you at your expense.

Orders returned due to an incorrect address, non-collection, parcel refusal, or failure to rearrange delivery will be treated as returns and may be subject to return postage charges.

Returns Exceptions

For hygiene, safety, or copyright reasons, certain items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  1. Beds and bedding (including mattresses, blankets, and cushions)
  2. Underwear, swimwear, and hosiery
  3. Sanitary products, nappies, and accessories
  4. Furniture or products that have been partially or fully assembled
  5. Gift cards are non refundable once purchased.

This list is not exhaustive, and does not affect your statutory rights. These exceptions do not apply to goods that arrive damaged or faulty.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

We’re really sorry if something’s gone wrong with your order. We’ll do our best to resolve any issue as quickly as possible.

Please email hello@tinkerandtot.co.uk within 7 days of receiving your delivery and include:

• Your order reference
• A description of the issue
• Clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect items
• Photos of the outer packaging (especially if it shows signs of damage)

Please do not dispose of any packaging in case additional evidence is needed. If damage occurred in transit, we may need further photos before, during, and after opening the parcel.

If an item is faulty:

• Contact us within 7 days of delivery for a resolution.
• If a fault develops within 30 days, you may request a refund.
• Faulty items must be returned within this 30-day period.

If the fault arises after 30 days (but within the warranty period), we will first aim to repair or replace the item. You may be asked to return the item and will be provided with a free returns label.

Please do not attempt repairs before contacting us, as this may void your warranty.

Important Notes

• All claims for damaged, faulty, or missing items must be made within 7 days of delivery.
• Orders missing an order reference inside the return may experience delays in processing.
• Allow up to 7 working days after we receive your return for processing your refund or exchange.
• We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet our conditions or are received outside the specified timeframes.

Force Majeure

Tinker & Tot shall have no liability for delays, damages, or failed deliveries caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
